Big news for every boat owners and fishermen out there. The wish for a birds-eye view feature has finally granted with Raymarine’s new Axiom UAV application. Raymarine, a leading manufacturer of electronic equipment for marine use, has officially announced the launch of Axiom UAV, a new unmanned aerial imaging app for the company’s Axiom multifunction displays (MFDs).
The new product combines the power of advanced marine electronics with the advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs.) The newly announced LightHouse 3.6 software update also offers integration and compatible with DJI Mavic Pro drones. There’s also a dedicated Axiom UAV app that can be used to automate many common tasks, which include in-flight navigation, airborne imaging, and return-to boat.
The app also provides multiple options, including an automatic flight mode, to control the Mavic Pro drone during its flight. In addition, the new Axiom UAV also offers a virtual on-screen for manual flights.
